Dominica’s Annual World Creole Music Festival, created in 1997, is considered one of the main events of autochthonous music in the Eastern Caribbean.

Initially conceived as a platform for showcasing Creole culture and music, the Festival’s current popularity has turned it into one of the most important events in Dominica.

Every year the Festival gathers some of the most outstanding representatives of Creole culture, both figures from Dominica as well as other nations of the Caribbean, as well as from Europe, Africa and the United States.

After an interruption of two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Festival returns with its edition no. 22, next October.
