Uruguay - Postcard El toque del Candombe by Ruben Darío Galloza (1926-2002)

Galloza’s painting represents a scene of the afro-American dance called Candombe. Galloza made numerous paintings dedicated to this dance. He was one of the few African descendants influenced by Figari’s themes and colours.
