Asamblea Legislativa de Costa Rica
Mediante la Ley 7202 se crea el Sistema Nacional de Archivos, cuyo ente rector es el Archivo Nacional de Costa Rica. En ella se establecen las funciones del Archivo Nacional, deberes de las instituciones que integran el Sistema, así como regulaciones en materia archivística.
