The 5th Meeting of Ministers of Culture of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) took place as part of the agenda of #MICA2022 at the Kirchner Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. CELAC member countries elected Argentina to head the Presidency Pro Tempore during this year.

The event aimed to resume the bloc's cultural agenda as well as to facilitate a space in which the ministers can discuss specific initiatives to contribute to the strengthening of regional integration. Preliminary topics for the work agenda include, among others: i) Review and update of CELAC's cultural action plan; ii) Declaration for the strengthening of cultural and creative industries in the region; iii) Regional dialogue towards the World Conference on Cultural Policies (Mondiacult), UNESCO/Mexico, 2022.
