Objective:
Oriente is the only Publishing House with national scope located out of Havana City. It has worked for 28 years with a wide thematic profile: literature, scientific dissemination, popular culture, social sciences, and literature for children and young people. It has very popular collections among readers: Heredia, devoted to disseminate literary works in all genres, Autoayuda (Self help) devoted to orientation texts in medicine field, En Casa (At Home) with a variety of subjects referred to home. Privileged subjects in the work of the Publishing House are: history and sports.
Its mission is to publish and promote books of wide thematic profile: scientific – technical, humanistic and general culture, for all ages readers.
