Objective:
La Escuela Nacional de Danza (National Dance School), was created by virtue of Decree No.232 dated July 11th, 1990 as a department of Fine Arts Head Office. Aimed at teaching all skills and artfulness to master dance techniques so as to get movement perfection and to define the specialization in the classic, modern and folkloric areas. The school also aims at estimating dance as one of the arts contributing to artistic and spiritual psychomotor development of human beings, at providing an authentic and clear vision of our national, Caribbean and Latin American identity through different dance expressions, at teaching professionally classic, modern and folkloric dancers.
