First meeting of the new International Scientific Committee for the Project The Slave Route
 
    
At UNESCO Headquarters, with the presence of its Director General

March 9, 2006/ UNESCO Regional Office for Culture in Latin America and the Caribbean

On February 22nd last, the first meeting of the new International Scientific Committee of the project The Slave Route was held at the UNESCO Headquarters. The Director General of the organization, Mr. Koichiro Matsuura, was present at the meeting.

The new Committee is now as follows:
