The Managing Committee of the project "Heritage Recovery and Cultural Development in Havana: Segundo Cabo Palace", implemented by the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana (OHCH) in collaboration with UNESCO and funded by the European Union, met at the UNESCO Office in Havana to assess the implementation of the project and consider the steps to be taken in the coming months.

Present at this third meeting of the Managing Committee were the heads of the project in the three institutions involved. During the meeting the recommendations previously made by the Managing Committee and their implementation during this year were examined, and the present state of the building’s restoration and the definition of its cultural use were presented. Alternatives were adopted to address the difficulties, positive actions were recognized, and new initiatives were proposed to improve the quality of the project.
