4th Film Cycle “UNiTE for non-violence” in Dominican Republic |

For the fourth consecutive year, the Film Cycle “UNiTE to End Violence against Women and Girls” will take place from 25 to 27 November, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, organized by the United Nations System in the country as part of the activities marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
This year the cycle includes the presentation of materials such as the film Agua (2005) and the documentary Enamórate de ti misma produced by UN Women, in film forums jointly organized by the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), the Ibero-American University (UNIBE), the Mother and Teacher Pontifical Catholic University (PUCMM) and the Santo Domingo Institute of Technology (INTEC).
The cycle will close with the special screening of the film Difret, produced by Angelina Jolie, at the Fine Arts Cinema Café at Novocentro, on Friday, 27 November, at 5 p.m. The activity counts with the support of Caribbean Cinemas and it will be open to the general public.
